I was born in Lisbon, Portugal and raised in Beira, Mozambique. My family and I moved here in 1998 for a better opportunity and education for my younger brother and myself. Fast forward 20-so years later, I was working Full-time in Retail Management and also teaching a cardio boxing once a week at Bay Area Boxing in Belmont, CA while taking boxing and HIIT classes at Hit Fit SF. My goal was to teach Boxing / Cardio Boxing, because it was all I knew; but in September 2018 I was offered my first HIIT class at Hit Fit SF and I couldn’t turn down an opportunity to teach! I love coaching whether its in a group setting or one-on-one; The fact that I can connect and build a community through my passion is a true gift.
